Short-Term Accommodation (STA) – Respite Care
STA provides temporary care and housing for NDIS participants, usually up to 14 days at a time. It's designed to offer participants a break from their usual environment, support carers, and encourage independence. Services include 24/7 support, meals, personal care, and community engagement.

When unexpected challenges arise, MRM Care Consultant provides fast, compassionate, and safe crisis accommodation to support individuals in urgent need. If your usual care arrangement breaks down or you're at risk due to safety or housing concerns, we act swiftly to ensure you’re safe and supported.
-
Crisis support may include:
Emergency accommodation placement
In-home or on-site support workers
Coordination with crisis and housing services
Emotional and practical support during transition
Youth and Adolescent Mentorship (SSRC)
-
At MRM Care Consultant, we’re committed to empowering young people to thrive through tailored support, care, and mentorship. We partner with agencies like the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) and deliver Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC) to provide youth and adolescents with a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
-
Our SSRC program offers safe, staffed accommodation for children and young people who cannot live at home or in foster care for a period of time. These placements are trauma-informed, youth-focused, and built around stability and emotional wellbeing.
Services include:
24/7 care and supervision by trained youth workers
Safe and supportive home-like environment
Behavioural and emotional support
Daily routines, life skills, and engagement in education
Support with family restoration or transition planning
We collaborate with caseworkers, therapists, schools, and families to ensure every young person feels secure, valued, and empowered.
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
-
Supported Independent Living is a type of NDIS-funded support that helps people with disability live in a shared home or on their own, with access to 24/7 assistance tailored to their daily living needs. It's ideal for those who want to build independence while still having the care they need.
